Submission Guidelines
Please follow these 8 steps to understand our submission, review, and publication process.
01
Step 1. Abstract Submission: before June 1, 2026
- Prepare the abstract including: title, author list with institution, 5 keywords, main content (approx. 200 words, 8–10 lines, A4 page), and corresponding author information.
- The abstract must be written in English (except submissions intended for Journal of Construction, which can be written in Vietnamese).
- Submit directly through the ICEBA2026 conference submission site.
- Authors submit abstracts by subject area (8 sessions) and choose 1 of 4 journals: (1) Springer Nature Book Series (Scopus); (2) Chinese Journal of Physics (Q1/Q2, Taiwan); (3) IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Q3, Japan); (4) Journal of Construction (Vietnamese, Non-Scopus).
- After submission, an ID paper code will be assigned by the submission system and remains throughout the submission process. CMT submission guidelines is downloadable below.
02
Step 2. Abstract Notification: June 15, 2026
- The ICEBA2026 Publication Committee will read the abstract and review the suitability of the submitted paper to the submitted session.
- Based on the Publication Committee's recommendation, authors may review, re-submit to other sessions or re-select one of the four journals for publication (or withdraw the paper).
03
Step 3. Full Paper Manuscript Submission: before July 15, 2026
Note: Authors submit the full paper with the same ID assigned when submitting the abstract.
- All submitted full papers must be written in English and use the template corresponding to the publication selection (all templates are available on the conference website).
- Full paper length: 4–8 pages including figures, tables, and references. All figures and tables must be clear, high-resolution, and properly captioned. IEEJ-TEEE Journal charges a fee based on page count — authors should check the details beforehand.
- Submitted paper must be original and not previously published or submitted to other journals simultaneously. All listed authors must contribute substantially to the work, and AI-generated content must be disclosed.
- From Step 3 onwards, authors no longer have the right to change the field/session or the journal selected for publication.
04
Step 4. Manuscript Notification: August 1, 2026
- The Publication Committee will review the format and check for copyright/plagiarism and notify authors of the full paper status.
- Full papers that do not meet format, quality standards, or plagiarism requirements will be rejected.
05
Step 5. Final Manuscript Submission: before September 1, 2026
- Authors complete the full paper and submit directly via journal links (for publications (2), (3) and (4)) or the ICEBA2026 submission website (for publication (1)) before September 1, 2026.
- The secretariat will send submission links and guidance corresponding to each accepted publication along with the Manuscript Notification in Step 4.
06
Step 6. Registration and Conference Attendance
- Authors must register and complete payment of the conference fee before the conference (Early bird: before September 15, 2026) or on-site (November 2, 2026) to be eligible to present.
- Submissions with no registered author will be considered withdrawn and their final review process will be terminated and not published in any publication.
- The conference fee includes: ICEBA booklet, coffee break, lunch, welcome/farewell parties, local transportation, and publication (IEEJ-TEEE Journal (3) publication fee is not included).
- In special cases, authors should contact the ICEBA2026 Secretariat (contact information below or on the conference website).
07
Step 7. Final Reviewing Process (before November 15, 2026 – may extend)
- The Publication Committee of the four journals will conduct a full paper peer review according to each journal's regulations and procedures.
- The peer review process will be completed before November 15, 2026 (may extend depending on the journal reviewing process speed).
- Authors cooperate with the journal during the final reviewing process on the corresponding system when submitting the final manuscript in Step 5.
08
Step 8. Notification and Publication
- Once the paper is accepted, the journal's editorial board will notify the main author via email. Authors who pay the publication fee (for IEEJ-TEEE Journal, Japan) can request an acceptance certificate.
- The full paper will be published online.
- For hard copies (if available), authors should contact the journals for further guidelines.
